Endocannabinoid System (ECS)

The Biological system composed of endocannabinoids, which are endogenous lipid-based retrograde neurotransmitters that bind to cannabinoid receptors (CBRs) Cannabinoid receptor proteins are expressed throughout the vertebrate central nervous system and peripheral nervous system

Endocannabinoid

Cannabinoids that naturally produced by our body Anandamide-Central or Peripheral Nervous System and 2-Arachidonoylglycerol- Regulation of Appetite, Immune System Functions, Pain Management

Exocannabinoid

Cannabinoids that are found in plants

CB1 Receptor

Found mainly in our Central Nervous System (Spinal Cord and Brain) Direct Role in memory and cognition, emotion, motor control, appetite stimulation, and perception of pain

CB2 Receptor

Immune system- Responsible for mediating Cytokine release- Gastrointestinal System

Extraction

The Process used to remove the Cannabinoids from the Industrialized Hemp Plant

Solvent

Used in extraction process to dissolve certain substances

Super Critical CO2 Extraction

The Extraction process used for Full Spectrum Products Creates phase changes in carbon dioxide utilizing temperature and pressure. CO2 is known as a “tunable solvent” making it extremely versatile for creating a multitude of end products by controlling temperature and pressure

Broad Spectrum

0% THC or ND THC (Non Detected THC)

Phytocannabinoid-Rich

Other beneficial cannabinoids (CBG, CBN, CBC)

Flavonoids

Terpenes

Essential Amino Acids

Full Spectrum

.3% or Less of THC

 Phytocannabinoid-Rich

Other beneficial cannabinoids (CBG, CBN, CBC)

 Flavonoids

Terpenes

Essential Amino Acids

Isolate

ONLY CBD

Entourage Effect

Results produced from the synergistic interaction of the cannabinoids, flavonoids, terpenes, and fatty acids naturally found in cannabis • Reason behind why Broad or Full Spectrum products work better than an Isolate product

Synergy

The interaction or cooperation of two or more organizations, substances, or other agents to produce a combined effect greater than the sum of their separate effects
